WHO welcomes Moderna move not to enforce COVID-19 vaccine patents
GENEVA (Reuters)-On Friday, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, President of the World Health Organisation, accepted U.S. drug maker Moderna Inc 's decision to not apply patents for its COVID-19 pandemic.
Moderna reported on Thursday that other drugmakers might use the company's technologies to produce shoots.
It is one of the most innovative vaccines in the United States, and has taken over one million lives globally, and which is viewed as key to the end of the coronavirus pandemic.
