Fire in Berlin subway station injures 4

BERLIN (AP) — The German news agency dpa announced on Monday that a fire hit a Berlin metro station, injuring four people, one critically.

Late Sunday the fire broke out and 120 firefighters still battled the blaze on Monday, but it was mostly under control.

It was not immediately clear the cause of the fire began in a shop inside the uncle's Toms Huette station in Zehlendorf's southwest neighbourhood.

The fire spread rapidly overnight to two other shops and many local people had to evacuate their house due to smoke, dpa said.
