Vice President Mike Pence and the lady Melania Trump also confirmed early Friday, that they have screened for coronavirus positive, along with their wife Karen sending their "heart and prayers," to President Donald Trump and the first woman Melania Trump.
"We join millions of people around America hoping for their complete and quick recovery," Pence says on Twitter.
Hours after he late Thursday reported that senior aide Hope Hicks had been afflicted with the virus, Trump's positive test arrived.
The White House did not have any direct comment on the testing of Pence following the diagnosis of Trumps and Hicks.

President Donald Trump's White House physician released a release claiming that despite catching the coronavirus the president would proceed to perform his duties "without delay."
Dr. Sean Conley, the president's psychiatrist, states the president and lady Melania Trump, "all are now in excellent health and expect to rest at home while in the White House."
Trump had cancelled his intentions to visit a fund raising event on Friday and to travel to Florida for a rally, but he agreed to call "COVID 19 help for disabled elderly" at his schedule.
