WASHINGTONVILLE, Pa. (AP) â€” State troopers say they had to use a rope to corral a man who was driving drunk on his lawn mower with a box of beer.
The Daily Item reports (http://bit.ly/1IjFMKs ) 25-year-old Tyler Anspach moreover threatened a trooper after he was arrested on July 13 while driving his tractor in Montour County, approximately 100 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
Police received a call that night approximately an agitated, mower-driving man making threats. Responding troopers said they could smell alcohol on Anspach & saw him stumble.
p>Authorities say his blood-alcohol content was .21 percent. That's more than twice the legal limit for drivers.
Anspach is charged with DUI, disorderly conduct & related offenses.
Court documents don't list an attorney for him. A phone listing was not immediately available.
